Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how OpenClaw.Direct collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account, including your email address and name. We also collect API keys you configure for your instances.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and maintain our services, process payments, and communicate with you about your account.
Data Protection
Your API keys are encrypted at rest. Your OpenClaw instance runs on dedicated infrastructure not shared with other users.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and analytics cookies to understand how our service is used.
Slack Data
When you add OpenClaw to Slack, we receive the messages sent to the bot (direct messages and channel messages that mention it), the related Slack user, channel, and workspace identifiers, and the bot token issued for your workspace. We do not read your wider workspace message history.
Bot tokens are encrypted at rest. Message content is minimized and retained for 30 days for support and abuse prevention, then deleted.
We never use your Slack messages or workspace data to train AI models.
You can disconnect the app from your OpenClaw dashboard or remove it from your Slack workspace's app settings at any time. A workspace admin may also request deletion of stored Slack data by contacting us; access ends immediately on removal.
