US affiliates submit a W-9 during onboarding; we issue a 1099-NEC if you earn $2,000+ in a calendar year (the 2026 IRS threshold). International affiliates submit a W-8BEN and are responsible for taxes in their own country — we don't withhold unless your tax treaty requires it.

Last click wins. If a prospect clicks Affiliate A's link, then 10 days later clicks Affiliate B's link before signing up, Affiliate B's cookie overwrites A's and gets the full commission. We don't split commissions.

Program terms

By joining the OpenClaw.Direct affiliate program you agree that:

  1. You earn 35% of net recurring revenue for the first 12 months of every paying customer attributed to your unique referral link.
  2. Attribution uses last-click with a 90-day cookie.
  3. Attribution is last-click within the 90-day cookie window — the most recent affiliate link clicked before signup receives the full commission. Cookies are overwritten on each new affiliate-link click.
  4. Commissions are held for 90 days. Cancellations or refunds inside the hold window void the commission. Cleared commissions are paid on the 15th of the following month, subject to a $50 minimum.
  5. Brand assets — logo, screenshots, and the OpenClaw name — may be used in promotional content but not in domain names, app names, social handles, or paid-ad headlines that imply official affiliation.
  6. You may not refer yourself, your own accounts, or use incentivized or cashback traffic without prior written approval.
  7. Coupon, deal, cashback, and loyalty/extension sites (including browser-extension coupon tools) are not eligible for commissions.
  8. You must disclose the affiliate relationship per FTC guidance ("#ad" or equivalent).
  9. AI-generated promotional content is permitted only if it is fact-checked, accurately represents the product, and includes the disclosures required by the FTC and the platform on which it is published.
  10. Commissions are paid in USD. If you receive payout in another currency via Wise, Wise's conversion fees are deducted from your side and are not reimbursed.
  11. We may terminate participation at any time for cause (fraud, brand damage, ToS violation). Earned, cleared commissions remain payable.
